SUGAR is…
A design thinking pedagogy workshop for interdisciplinary collaboration with corporate partners.

PURPOSE
SUGAR assembles an international community of academicians and industry partners to explore the challenges of real-time distributed team creativity with the intent to produce user centered innovation for human benefit.

ATTENDEES
SUGAR attendance is by invitation only. Attendees must have demonstrated an interest in, and past performance with, the issues of international collaboration across the disciplines. Attendees will participate in a series of hands-on workshop activities formulated to make design thinking tangible.

SPONSORSHIP
SUGAR is co-sponsored by faculty and staff at the University of Saint Gallen, Switzerland, under the leadership of Professors Walter Brenner and Falk Uebernickel. SUGAR is hosted in Palo Alto by the Center for Design Research at Stanford under the leadership of Professors Larry Leifer and Martin Steinert.
