Dr. Joseph Press

Dr. Joseph Press has more than 15 years of experience consulting global companies in designing innovative initiatives that create shared value. He uses design thinking and agile methodologies to spark creativity, learning and transformation.

Prior to his career in consulting, Joseph was a practicing architect, designing and building projects in the US, Germany, Israel and France. Most notably, he led the workplace design of AOL Time Warner HQ in Paris.

Joseph completed a Masters in Architectural Studies + Ph.D.in Design Technology at MIT. His Ph.D. research focused on design collaboration, cognition and innovation as catalysts to stimulate personal and organisational transformation.

Joseph is a faculty member at Parsons The New School For Design in the Strategic Design & Management Masters Program, where he teaches graduate courses on design, digital business models and innovation. He previously held teaching and research positions at MIT, Delft Technical University, and Bezalel Design Academy.
